Western Growers believes that women are essential to the future of agriculture, which is why we have developed WG Women, a program that prepares women for positions of leadership within WG member companies and the broader fresh produce industry.
We are excited to announce the first session of the WGW Program in 2023. Join us November 7th, 2023 for Part 1 of Social Media Training Workshop and again on November 27th for Part 2. Join Western Growers own Julia Nellis to learn how to identify your social media goals, the importance of a social media presence and overall strategies when it comes to advertising.
Julia Nellis serves as the Social Media Manager for Western Growers, where she is responsible for cultivating and maintaining the Association’s social media presence. She has experience with local government, campaign management, and social media strategies.
Julia received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Political Science and Communications, respectively, from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
When she’s not at work, Julia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, exercising, and coaching youth soccer.
