Meet the Speakers
June Monroe is a Director and attorney at the Irvine office of Fennemore, LLP. June began her legal career at the agricultural law firm of Rynn & Janowsky, LLP. The founding partners, Patricia Rynn and Lewis Janowsky, were previously general counsel at Western Growers. June worked her way to the top to legal secretary, paralegal, associate attorney and partner. In October 2022, she joined the deep bench at Fennemore, LLP. She practices agricultural law, employment law, commercial law, secured transactions and general business law. She concentrates on federal litigation to enforce produce suppliers’ statutory rights under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA). She is currently Chair of the Agribusiness Committee for the Business Law Section of the California Lawyers Association.

Stephen has defended public entities against claims involving premises liability and personal injury, including a wrongful death action against a major school district in which he obtained a nonsuit. Stephen has represented general contractors, subcontractors and property owners in construction litigation, including issues involving subrogation and indemnification. Stephen also has defended individual and class actions brought under various consumer protection statutes, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and California’s Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA). He has also prepared numerous articles and delivered many presentations for trade associations on successfully defending consumer protection litigation.

For more than 40 years, Dean Rallis has focused his practice in the areas of business reorganization, corporate insolvency, commercial and bankruptcy litigation, commercial transactions, as well as the acquisition of assets and businesses in bankruptcy court and out-of-court workouts. He has functioned as lead counsel for secured creditors, debtors, creditors’ committees and purchasers in the bankruptcy, restructuring and liquidation of companies.
